Julie Schwartz, Principal Consultant | How TTEC Digital Works for Me

Hi, I'm Julie Schwartz at TTEC Digital. I'm a principal consultant with our DCX delivery team. We work with many partners, but I focus on Microsoft projects. My team is composed of many different consultants with different skill sets, some of us more functional, some of us more technical. Each project, we get grouped together based on our specialty use to work with our clients to create customized needs to help the clients' day-to-day work processes become more efficient.

How does working at TTEC Digital work for you?

During the COVID pandemic, my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. In March of 2022, we had to move him into assisted living. As his primary caregiver, there were many new responsibilities I acquired. I was worried about the amount of time I was taking off in order to care for him, but my managers and teammates have been so supportive and understanding, allowing me the flexibility to balance both my family and professional needs. It's clear to me that my leadership team cares about me, not just as an employee, but as a person. They want to make sure that I'm taking care of myself physically and mentally. Working for a place that truly cares about me and my family's wellbeing is everything.

I've been so blessed with having amazing mentors here at TTEC Digital. Just in the last year, I set up a meeting with my manager to discuss my career trajectory. I had multiple areas that interested me, and I was struggling trying to figure out which would be the best path for me, both professionally and personally. My manager and I had multiple meetings, and together we helped identify the best career path for me using my personal interests and professional strengths. Then, together, we made goal objectives laying out a path for me to grow and achieve them. I'm thrilled to say that with his guidance and maybe a not-so-gentle, but loving push, some of my goals were achieved within nine months of creating that original goal plan. It's amazing working for a company that really invests in and encourages their employees' professional growth. We often hear companies say they care about your career growth, but to have it not be empty words and to see that the company actually follow through with it in action is just really quite refreshing.

What do you love about your job?

What I love about my job is the opportunity to work with so many different people, both internally and externally. These interactions have broadened and diversified my professional experiences and help me grow as a consultant, as well as personally.
